Writing Support for International Students

International Huskies Writing Assistance (IHWA) is a specialty resource to help graduate and undergraduate international students with writing. You may email IHWA a paper to have it edited by their team of writers. The writers will review the paper, make edits and include comments that will help you understand the editing suggestions and changes. From there, you must attend one of their two editing sessions and go over the edits one-on-one with an IHWA writer in order to receive your edited paper. Our sessions are Tuesdays 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in International Student and Scholar Services in McMahon Hall. Check in with the front desk upon arrival, and they will point you towards the center. If you are unavailable during those times IHWA can arrange to call you via Skype at a more convenient time.

If you have any questions or would like to submit a paper for editing, please email IHWA.uconn@gmail.com
